Great news coming from Hasbro on Thursday! We're getting three new Vintage Collection figures as part of 2021's celebration of Lucasfilm's 50th anniversary, this time in celebration of Kenner's Droids line from the mid-80's. New renditions of R2-D2, C-3PO, and Boba Fett will be on Target shelves this fall. Plus, we get one new six-inch Boba Fett in the Black Series, once again in his animated deco, and also as a Target exlcusive.
For those interested, Boba Fett is the #6 most popular figure in the Happy Beeps catalog, with a grand total of 152 toys in the database. He's getting closer and closer to overtaking Princess Leia at #5 with 174...we'll have to see what happens this fall when our favorite bounty hunter takes the stage for his own Disney+ series. R2-D2 is #7 with 149, and C-3PO stands at #13 with 116 toys.
